During my last trip to San Francisco we decided to head north to Napa Valley. After a day of exploring and wine tasting we took the winding and scenic route west, out to the Mendocino Coast. More specifically, we were excited to experience what is known as the tiny coastal town, Elk, California.

Give Me Adventure: Learning to Scuba Dive, Roatán

Similar to most travelers, I love learning and trying new things. That's why I jumped at the chance to learn how to scuba dive on the beautiful Roatan Island in Honduras. Now if getting there was only as easy!
My brother and I flew into San Pedro Sula excited for a new adventure. We arrived around 1 in the morning without a taxi in sight. Luckily, we had reserved the Dos Molinos B&B in advance and the owner, Luis, was there waiting for us. For $40 we had two twin beds, a private room & bath, and a homemade breakfast.
